PAO and Major Method

I started a PAO list because yesterday I was writing about hating things, and i have a lot of hostility toward these visual and verbal number systems. 

I talked to Chris about it and he was surprisingly hostile because he can just remember numbers without tricks. He learnt the 100 places of pi at school to annoy his teacher. I guess he used the page a a MP. 

I will tell him about the bestiary for names. 

I talked to Sam and he still hasn't looked at the cospaces for axioms. I might just give him the animal list. 

I spent a lot of time deep diving into the lives of psychologists and trying to distinguish people vividly enough to include them.

    Did you know that the Bestiary I use for names is now available as a free download from my website? And my Chinese system, all spelt out. The latter sounds too complex when written out, but it works!

    I use PAO (Person-Action-Object) a lot. I don't use the Major System because I was already trained in the Dominic System, by Dominic O'Brien himself! I felt a loyalty and liked it anyway!

      Hi Lynne,
      I think I bought the Bestiary as a little book, but a PDF would be harder to lose in my chaotic house. I'll find the Chinese one. I'm not sure it would work for trad Characters, but worth a try! You are so generous.

      One reason it's taken so long to create my PAO is that I couldn't decide between the Domenic and the Major system. I can never tell how these things will work / how they will feel / what I will like until I try them. I wonder if it's a problem to mix the two. My list is still in draft form. I may have included characters that aren't really vivid for me so I'm going to let it sit an bubble for a few days.
      I have class marks to submit and I always get my best ideas when I have other deadlines. It's unfortunate.

Trust Issues and History Walks

Some villagers who haven't demolished their historic house and wall are updating the wall-paintings in quite a traditional style. There is a lot of mural painting going on in the village this year, on all kinds of buildings.  The area where I live is always in flux, construction, development. A typhoon several months ago knocked down what felt like 1/3 of the trees around the areas where I walk. Several favourites. And as housing estates go up and older properties get bought and sold, man-made landmarks disappear. Industrial shops get strangely gentrified in commercial experiments that often flounder. Shops change hands. A plant shop becomes a pet shop. So many are real-estate agencies. I also find a lot of the new houses just ugly and don't want to put them into my permanent files. However.
